All TAUS Care’s staff must agree to abide by the organisation’s Child Safe Code of Conduct and Staff Code of Conduct, which specify the standards of conduct (acceptable and unacceptable behaviours) required when working with children and young people. As with all TAUS Care policies and procedures, all staff, as well as children and young people and their families, are given the opportunity to contribute to the continuous improvement of both Codes of Conduct.

All personal information considered or recorded will respect the privacy of the individuals involved, whether they be staff, volunteers, parents or children and young people, unless there is a risk to someone’s safety. Everyone is entitled to know how this information is recorded, what will be done with it, and who will have access to it. TAUS Care has processes in place to seek parental and children and young people’s consent for relevant activities and information gathering.
